What a great first day of chorus! We had a fantastic turnout of enthusiastic, new singers and strong and confident veterans from last year. We discussed the six important parts of CHORUS: Camaraderie, Harmony, Opportunity, Responsibility, Unity, and Satisfaction. We also started two great new songs, including a little bit of SCAT. I'm very excited about the potential in this group.
Friday is "Bring a Friend to Chorus" day. The students should invite new students who haven't turned in a permission slip to bring a new body to chorus to join. I look forward to seeing who they will bring.
